What does searing mean!? I have seen it used around I am blank

It means burning. It's also a historical event that happened to Ascalon.

Yeah, Pre-searing Ascalon is like the begining of Lord of the Rings. Post-Searing Ascalon is if Sauron had won.

Once you join the military/academy everything goes apocalyptic. It's Hell on Earth. So spend as much time in Pre-Searing Ascalon as you can. Once you reach levels 6 to 8 it's time to move on.
